Welcome to Selezione, our coffee line that gives a new meaning to the concepts of quality, control, and supply chain. With the Selezione line coffees, we seek excellence never achieved before and recounts the story that connects a distant coffee plant to the aroma of the steaming cup you hold in your hand.
Introducing Selezione, the new way to experience coffee:
Traceability
For our Selezione coffees, we decided to make the journey to personally meet the individual producers, and select the best beans from their harvest. Each Selezione coffee is part of a micro-lot whose entire history we know: this is how we can ensure real traceability, from the field to the cup.
Sustainability
The production of each Selezione coffee is on a small scale, and linked to the availability of raw material micro-lots at the time of purchase. We choose to only buy from those who maintain sustainable agricultural practices and projects that improve the lives of plantation workers and their families.
Limited editions
Each of our coffees is a tribute to the story of each producer, and is strictly linked to the harvest of the lot we selected during the tasting phase: this is the only way we can offer you an authentic and unrepeatable experience.
Care during roasting
During the selection of the best coffee varieties, we also created a tailor-made roasting profile in our lab, allowing each coffee to best express its diverse potential in taste, aroma, and body.

For over 80 years, we have been guided by our love for coffee; it is made of experience, discovery, and attention to a ritual that brings people together and creates truly unique moments. With the Selezione line, we go beyond the concepts of quality, certifications, and supply chain control. We have taken a step that is often missing from coffee stories, even when the quality is high and certified. With Selezione, Brazilian Arabica simply becomes Filomena’s coffee, and Guatemalan Arabica becomes Francisco’s coffee.
To create the Selezione line, we oversee every stage of the coffee supply chain, from cultivation to the cup. We build relationships of mutual trust with producers and visit the most fascinating places in the Coffee Belt to discover the beans that will later become a fragrant cup of specialty coffee.
Beyond coffee quality
Behind every Selezione coffee, there is much more than the simple result of a season of work in a distant land. There are the stories, hardships, and successes of small producers who make a difference and contribute to the development of their region. This is the case with Cafè Delas, the project that includes Filomena Estafania Matto’s Fazenda Mattos Santa Rita, which supports female farmers’ access to the knowledge, resources, and visibility they need to grow their businesses. Or Agri Evolve, a company committed to increasing productivity and improving profits for farmers in Uganda, which benefits the entire local community. These are projects that look toward a future that is closer to the people, with more respect, and more fairness.
