Reduction of emissions
and efficient use of energy
We have invested in advanced technologies to reduce the environmental impact of our production processes.
During roasting, we use a system composed of a catalyst, post-burner, and control software that optimizes every stage, to minimize emissions into the atmosphere.
Our Specialty Selezione coffees are roasted with a 100% electric roaster.
We produce a significant part of our energy thanks to a 92 kW photovoltaic system, integrated with a heat pump air conditioning system that allows us to heat and cool environments while limiting the use of gas. Over 90% of the company spaces are also lit with low-consumption LED technology.
Logistics and sustainable mobility
We have started a renewal process for the company fleet: over 20% of the vehicles are already electric, and we continue to introduce new-generation vehicles to reduce emissions related to deliveries.
Responsible packaging
We are committed to the progressive reduction of aluminum and multi-material components in our packaging, while maintaining high standards of quality and product preservation.
We have chosen not to produce plastic or aluminum capsules, favoring compostable paper pods, which have less impact on the environment. To-go products also follow this philosophy, and comprise compostable cups, bamboo stirrers, and FSC-certified napkins.

Circular economy

We adopt a circular approach, both to reduce waste and value every resource.
The jute bags used for transporting coffee are reintroduced into the market as a by-product, while the chaff – a natural residue of roasting – is delivered to specialized companies that transform it into compost.
Within the company, we have eliminated single-use items: we use porcelain cups, personal water bottles, and water distribution systems to drastically reduce plastic consumption.

Ariva BIO is our 100% Arabica blend certified organic with the ICEA certification.
We are certified BIO/ORGANIC ICEA and select raw materials from supply chains that pay attention to sustainability, with the aim of guaranteeing quality while respecting the environment and producing communities.
